Laurent Sauvage, an agronomical engineer and graduate in oenology from Montpellier, is the house of Fortant’s Viniculturist. His dual skills in agronomy and vinification link the indissociable aspects of viticulture and winemaking. It all begins in the vineyards where he identifies the potential of the grapes best suited to the terroir. He supervises and advises the house’s partner winegrowers.
For thirty years, a hundred very close partnerships have been established between the house of Fortant, winegrowers and wine cooperatives. A team is dedicated to following up on plots and vinifications according to very precise specifications.
